Patrick was admitted to practice as a Certified Practising Valuer in 1988 and has covered the full spectrum of property sectors, from basic residential through to complex commercial and court accredited family law valuations.

A late starter to the profession after careers in farming and teaching, Patrick commenced in residential property management with the Professionals, Essendon and then commercial management with Jones Lang La Salle, City Office. Patrick then became Assistant City Valuer with the City of Wyndham, this allowed for valuation experience in all types of property including rural, intensive agricultural and special purpose properties. Patrick then joined a large finance organisation where he was senior property analyst, specialising in feasibility analysis and portfolio review throughout Australia and South East Asia.

In 1992, Patrick founded WBP Property Group, which is now one of the largest privately owned valuation companies in Australia, with offices in each state and an expanding regional presence.

Now employing over 95 staff, Patrick’s vision was one of technology with quick and reliable service to clients. In 2007, this vision was recognised when WBP was announced the Telstra Business of the Year.

Patrick is an active participant of the Australian Property Institute and is a member of the Major Events Committee and Board of Examiners. With a background in a variety of sectors, Patrick brings a wealth of experience and life skills to the company and is regularly asked to present at conferences, industry events and contribute to various industry and media publications.

Patrick’s area of expertise is diverse, including Court Accredited Family Law appointments, Commercial, Industrial, Retail Valuations, complex mortgage residential, large rural properties, Owners Corporation Insurance Assessments, Financial Reporting and Valuer General accredited State Government Appointments.
