Vanessa Eley

General Manager Corporate and Compliance

Vanessa Eley is General Manager Corporate and Compliance of WBP Property Group. In her role Vanessa is responsible for the management and supervision of Group structure, risk, tax, legal and contract management functions within WBP and its entities in order to mitigate risk, and ensure the WBP Group meets compliance and legislative requirements.

Vanessa is also responsible for assisting with staff management and development in order to create efficient operational workflows and accountabilities aimed at optimising internal organisational performance.

Joining WBP in 2009, Vanessa commenced as the Financial Controller of WBP’s property management division. With previous experience as an Administration Manager of a law firm and Chief Financial Officer for an offshore commercial advisory group, Vanessa has extensive knowledge and specialised business experience.

Vanessa is well versed in all facets of trust and general accounting and she has an excellent working knowledge of real estate and property transaction requirements, both from a due diligence and an accountability perspective.  Vanessa has also been part of the commercial and accounting practices for business ventures extending from Australasia to Russia and Panama.
