Residential Property Valuer - Sydney

WBP Property Group is seeking an experienced AAPI (CPV) qualified valuer to operate in western and south-western areas of Sydney. The position will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to work independently with support from WBP’s friendly and supportive management and administrative teams.

Reporting directly to the New South Wales State Manager, key responsibilities will include conducting residential valuations to a quality standard as per allocated requests, appointment setting and liaison with clients. The position will require the successful candidate to conduct a defined number of residential valuations within specified time frames and to a quality standard. Key skills include effective time management, attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

The successful applicant will meet all API Risk Management and CPD criteria and hold a NSW registration and also be complemented by a general level of proficiency with regard to computer skills and experience. Commercial experience while not essential is desirable.

The successful candidate will be offered competitive remuneration and will be provided with WBP’s industry-leading XpressVal technology.

Reporting directly to the Victorian Valuations Manager, key responsibilities will include conducting residential valuations to a quality standard as per allocated requests, appointment setting and liaison with clients. The position will require the successful candidate to conduct a defined number of residential valuations within specified time frames and to a quality standard. Key skills include effective time management, attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Working in this fast-paced role the position is central to the servicing of valuation and property services requirements of WBP’s clients around Australia. Reporting directly to the NSW State Manager, key responsibilities will include:

  • Processing valuations including Dictaphone typing
  • Strong computer skills
  • Managing office workflow and taking responsibility for nominated key clients
  • Fostering strong client relationships via communication on a day-to-day basis
  • Registering client valuation requests
  • Following up valuers to ensure status of jobs is up-to-date
  • Ensuring all reports meet clients’ specific requirements
  • Anticipating and responding to clients’ enquiries
  • Communicating client feedback to management
  • Working independently backed by an interstate head office,  CRM Team Leader and management to ensure all client requirements are met
  • General administrative duties as required

The position requires a range of skills including intermediate to strong computer proficiency, fast and accurate typing and dictation abilities and great communication and interpersonal capabilities.

WBP is looking for a “people person” who can work independently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in the property industry or a customer service call centre background will be held in high regard.

Remuneration for the position is circa $40,000 p.a. + super to be negotiated with the successful candidate based on skill and experience.
