WBP continues strategic expansion

Newcastle based valuation firm, Wolthers Property Valuers Pty Ltd has merged with WBP Property Group Pty Ltd, the national valuation and property services company, as part of WBP’s continued growth strategy.

Wothers Property Valuers will commence trading as WBP Property Group (Newcastle) on October 1st 2009. Directors Mathew Wolthers, Henry Pawlik and David Turner of Wolthers, will continue to direct the valuation business in Newcastle.

Greville Pabst, CEO of WBP Property Group, believes the development underpins the company’s national credentials. “Our merger with Wolthers is aligned with strategic plans to further expand our coverage in New South Wales to cater to the needs of our growing client base in the state.”

Wolthers Property Valuers specialises in both residential and commercial property valuations throughout Newcastle and the Hunter Region, as well offering professional and strategic property advice.

Established in 1953 to specifically service the residential mortgage industry, Wolthers has grown to service a large clientele ranging from both bank and non-banker lenders to private clients. Led by a dedicated team of professional staff Wolthers Property Valuers  has shaped a unique business structure. “Our distinctive model means that every valuation completed by Wolthers staff is reviewed and checked by a director prior to delivery to our valued clients” says Wolthers Managing Director, David Turner. Further to maintaining existing business, the merger will mean greater service offerings and value to clients in tending to their varied property related needs.

David Turner is a Licensed Valuer and holds an Associate Diploma of Business (Valuations). Mr. Turner is also an Associate member of the Australian Property Institute. Complemented by a team of qualified staff, WBP Property Group (Newcastle) will continue to provide professional valuation and property services to both existing and new clients.

The merger follows the recent opening of new WBP offices in Western Australia and Warragul (Victoria).
