Melbourne’s property markets are heating up again, but following a year of ups and downs, how do the experts expect the market to perform in 2010?

Come and hear what is in store for Melbourne's property markets from our panel of presenters as they discuss Australia’s business and economic landscapes and provide their perspective on residential and commercial property.

Robert Gottliebsen
Business Commentator
Eureka Report & Business Spectator

Renowned business commentator Robert Gottliebsen’s presentation will address the influence that China and the US will have on the Australian economy and examine the China-Australia currency link as he sets the context for his local business outlook for 2010.

Robert Gottliebsen

Paul Braddick
Head of Financial System Economics (Property), ANZ

In setting the economic context, Paul Braddick will look at the remarkable rise in Australian house prices in 2009 that finally silenced the doomsayers. He will examine the phased removal of the FHOB and ongoing increases in interest rates that will test the market’s resilience in 2010. While prices are expected to decelerate, Braddick will address the growing physical shortage of housing and show that improved investor sentiment should drive ongoing price gains.

Paul Braddick
